Choosing portrait backgrounds for a varied team
Ecrit le 16 oct. 2026 09:56I inherited a patterned scarf with a damaged border, and I would like to repair it so I can wear it again. I would rather test carefully than unpick stitches from fragile fabric later. The center is still sound, but the original edging has faded beyond a reliable match. The closest available trims are a subdued green and a noticeably warmer shade of brown. Both choices would be visible, and I have accepted that an invisible repair is unlikely. While comparing the options, I came across color analysis as the replacement trim will be quite visible around my neck and near my face. There is enough ribbon to pin a temporary border and compare both options first. Its sentimental value matters to me, and making it wearable matters just as much. How would you balance harmony with the existing pattern against the effect near the face?
