My short review of an online shop

Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival.

When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. I prefer simple designs that do not depend only on heavy filters in the pictures. Smaller shops can be surprisingly friendly if they care about repeat customers. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes. Now I am more careful with impulse buys and limited time offers. For things that I use every day, I prefer to pay a bit more if the quality is stable. If buyers say the item runs small or large, I always adjust my choice accordingly. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying.
